At Le Vieux Logis it is easy to practise several sports such as hiking, cycling and also fishing.

Hiking

For people, who fancy hiking and open air activities, Le Vieux Logis, is located right in the middle of the St Jacques paths. Nearby, you will find numerous hiking walks specially selected by the French Federation of hiking. Our place displays also several hikes, which are made to suit all levels!! You will have the opportunity and pleasure to walk threw the woods of Bordes, Angaïs and Lourdes. You will also discover and appreciate the sceneries of our wonderful Pyrenees Mountains!

Cycling

Le Vieux Logis is the perfect place for cycling and mountain biking amateurs. We do bike rentals and also offer special breakfasts, which are appropriated with the practise of these sports. The Hotel Restaurant will give you good advices concerning several cycling tours, which start from Bagnères de Bigorre, go threw the Val d’Azun and end at the col d’Aubisque. At your arrival at the hotel, the reception will be glad to give you maps, where cycling circuits are clearly outlined and which will suit all levels!

Fishing

Located nearby a river and at only 15 km from a lake, Le Vieux Logis is a fisherman’s paradise. You can do all kind of fishing including fly fishing. Our place is a stone throw from the famous gave de Pau river, and not far from the: Ouzoum, Luz, Gest, Lagoin and Baniou Beez rivers. It is also next to the Garonne and the Baliros lakes. The most common fishes are trout and minnows!
